Insect House Workshop

  • Arrowhead Farm 630 Puncatest Neck Road Tiverton, RI, 02878 United States (map)

Insect houses promote biodiversity by providing shelter for a range of insects that are beneficial to our environment.

About this event

Hosted by Eastern Rhode Island Conservation District and Firefly Mandalas.

Build an insect house for your home! Landscaped gardens are beautiful, but they often do not provide appropriate habitat for insects. Adding an insect house provides shelter for hibernation for insects that help to pollinate our flowers and crops. A healthy insect population also provides food to birds and other animals.

Join our workshop to build your own insect house with Eco-Artist Meredith Brower. Saturday, November 13th, 2021, 10am-12pm.

Location: Arrowhead Farm, 630 Puncatest Neck Road, Tiverton, RI.

$50 registration fee includes all tools and materials needed to build one insect house, as well as refreshments. Feel free to bring any materials you would like to include in your house! Tickets are very limited so sign up today.

Contact Meredith at cell/text: 401-474-1064 or email at FireflyMandalas@gmail.com
